The importance of domain expertise is often highlighted in the process mining field, for instance to parameterize process mining algorithms or to give meaning to certain patterns in process mining output. While there is strong consensus on the pivotal role of domain expertise, fairly little research has been done on how to efficiently and effectively involve domain experts in process mining. Against this background, this brainstorm seminar focuses on the efficient and effective involvement of domain experts in process mining.
